ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਉਠਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇੱਕ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੰਦਭਾਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਗਵਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਵਾਦ ਲਈ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਸਾਖ ‘ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਗੂ ਇਹ ਭੁੱਲ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਨੇ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅਨਾਜ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਤਮ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅੱਖੋਂ ਪਰੋਖੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
