ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਢਿੱਲੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਆਗੂਆਂ, ਚੌਲ ਮਿੱਲ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਏਜੰਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ, ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਕੁਝ ਆਗੂ ਸੈਕਟਰ 35 ਸਥਿਤ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
ਕਿਸਾਨ ਭਵਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੈਰੀਕੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੈਪਿਡ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ ਫੋਰਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਕਿਰਤੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੱਟਾਂਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ। ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗੇ।”
