ਜਿਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਗੋਲਕਨਾਥ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ਚਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿੰਗੇ ਭਾਅ 'ਤੇ ਵੇਚਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਚਰਚਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਹੈ। ਜਾਰਡਨ ਮਸੀਹ, ਜਿਸ 'ਤੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਨਗਰ ਸਥਿਤ ਚਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਚਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ 'ਚ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਉਥੇ ਸਹਾਰਨਪੁਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਹੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਲਈ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਚਰਚ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵੇਚਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਵੀ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਅੱਜ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ।
